What tools do you use to deliver personalized email campaigns to your users?

Email users today are at 3.7 billion. That number is expected to jump by 4.3 billion by 2022. So, for naysayers out there who keep saying that email marketing is dead, I have to respectfully disagree. Even today, I’d say email marketing remains one of the more effective, cost-efficient, and useful tools in any marketer’s arsenal.

What is true, however, is that email marketing techniques are getting more sophisticated. Gone are the days when you could rely on generic emailers to deliver results. You have to take the time to customize your messages, ensure personalization in your communication, and time deliveries perfectly. So now, more than ever, marketers will need the help of tools to ensure great campaigns.

That said, here are my top picks:

1. AWeber

AWeber is typically used for newsletter and email campaigns. It lets you easily automate your entire marketing funnel following an intuitive drag-and-drop editor. It also gives you access to templates and autoresponders.

AWeber is a paid platform, but it does offer a free one-month trial so you can see for yourself how well it works for you.

2. Cakemail

Cakemail also offers a selection of ready to use templates. It’s so easy to customize new themes, fonts, and colors that you can just design a new one for your campaign. It also has one of the simplest management platforms for contact lists—allowing you to segment groups and schedule email deliveries for more efficient personalization.

Cakemail is also one of the more affordable options available to small and medium enterprises at $8 a month.

3. ConvertKit

By far one of the most powerful email service providers I’ve tried, ConvertKit comes with automation capabilities and is most ideally suited for online businesses.

Online marketers can easily embed and customize opt-in forms depending on their needs. Their dashboard is straightforward and easy to use, making it so much easier to segment and manage subscribers to send targeted content.

4. Feedblitz

As far as all in one email marketing tools go, Feedblitz remains one of my top choices because of its affordability and robust features. Feedblitz offers features for email marketing, RSS feeds, and social media management. You can easily convert your feed and blog to create newsletters that can then be delivered straight to your subscribers via email.

Managing multiple mailing lists is uncomplicated, and you can even filter it depending on your needs—whether by content, preferences, or schedule. It also allows you to effortlessly share everything on social media.

5. Infusionsoft

Infusionsoft helps automate your different sales and marketing processes while streamlining all the data needed to do this efficiently. For example, to personalize automated emails, you can easily integrate the platform to your CRM processes to quickly pull up customer data and communication history. It also lets you conduct A/B testing on your emails, which I always recommend, so you can really determine which ones are delivering the best results.

Infusionsoft is a little pricier than most tools available today, starting at $99 a month. On the other hand, it’s one of the more robust and comprehensive email marketing tools that you could ever use. There’s a free trial option so you can first check whether or not the platform is a good fit for your needs.

These tools are a great way to improve and streamline your current email marketing process to boost personalization options. If you want to discuss more how email marketing and personalization can help boost your business, reach out to me at Leadspanda today.
