What are the most efficient ways to generate leads?
Your business’ ability to generate leads is critical to your growth and success as a company. However, you want to make sure to take the best and most effective steps towards it. You don’t want to invest time and money in a strategy that won’t reap the results you need and achieve your primary marketing objectives. So, it’s important to learn what are the most efficient ways you can go about this.
I’ve run down three of what I believe are the best ways we can generate quality leads below. This list is based on years of experience in the content marketing industry and I’m confident that it will help give your business the boost it needs to become more strategic and efficient.
1. Facebook Ads
It would be great if we could drive quality leads to our site without having to invest in some form of advertising. However, these are very competitive times. To get noticed, you need to put a little money behind your marketing efforts.
The great thing about Facebook Ads is that it’s simple, straightforward, easily implementable and scalable depending on your budget and needs. You have the option to drill down to specifics so you know you’re targeting a very relevant group, based on age, location, interests, and more. Needless to say, you need to know your audience very well to make this strategy work for you. You want to be able to create ads that are very relevant to your audience while still ensuring clarity of messaging to avoid confusing them.
2. Personalizing your email marketing approach
Email still works. Despite the availability and proliferation of multiple other marketing platforms and options that help drive leads, email is still a direct connection and touch point for your brand to your audience.
The key is in personalizing your approach. In fact, a study notes that by simply personalizing your emails, you stand to generate six times more revenue versus non-personalized emails and campaigns. Something as simple as grouping your email list by locations, purchase history, or even simply, addressing them by their name can help drive more leads and build more brand loyalty among your customers.
3. Offering freebies and discounts
Everybody loves a freebie. If you want to drive more leads, freebies and discounts are great incentives to encourage positive action. Try offering a free PDF download, exclusive access to high-value content, a coupon code for a discount if you want customers to submit their contact details. It’s also a great way to spur engagement or shares.
You can also boost the visibility of your freebie and discount promotions by adding it in your welcome email or creating a dedicated pop up to announce it.
